Non-Isolated RS-485 to Wi-Fi Bridge with 24 VAC Power Reference Design
TIDA-00485: The TIDA-00485 TI Design uses Texas Instruments SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 Internet-on-a-chip Wireless MCU module to create a data bridge between an RS-485 network and a Wi-Fi network. An SN65HVD72 transceiver provides the RS-485 Interface with 12 kV of ESD protection, and additional protection is provided on board. The design can be powered with AC or DC power up to 30 V RMS or 48 V peak. A version of this design with an isolated RS-485 interface is presented in TIDA-00486.
Automotive Body Control Module Driver Reference Design
TIDA-00296: TIDA-00296 is a reference design that highlights TI's high-side and low-side relay, motor, and load driver portfolios. TIDA-00374: This TI Design uses Texas Instruments nano-power system timer, SimpleLink™ ultra-low power wireless microcontroller (MCU) platform, and humidity sensing technologies to demonstrate an ultra-low power method to duty-cycle sensor end nodes. These technologies lead to an extremely long battery life: over 10 years with a standard CR2032 lithium ion coin cell battery. The TI Design includes techniques for system design, detailed test results, and information to get the design up and running quickly. This reference design uses the HDC1000. This reference design can also be used with the HDC1008, and HDC1050.

Ultrasonic Water Flow Meter Design using Time to Digital Conversion
TIDM-ULTRASONIC-FLOW-TDC: The TIDM-ULTRASONIC-FLOW-TDC is a reference design for an ultrasonic flow meter (water, gas or heat meter) with LCD built using a Time-to-Digital converter and an ultra-low power MCU. Solution includes optimized leakage detection, low power consumption, and a small form factor that are important requirements for water, heat and gas meter applications. This design also includes a high efficiency DC-DC converter for system power.
UART to Wi-Fi Bridge with 24 VAC Power Reference Design
TIDA-00375: The TIDA-00375 TI Design uses Texas Instruments SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 Internet-on-a-chip Wireless MCU module to create a data bridge between existing hardware with a logic-level UART interface and a Wi-Fi network. The design also contains a Simple Switcher power supply with a wide input range suitable for 24 volt HVAC systems. The UART interface has buffers to allow this design to interface with equipment that has logic levels between 3.3 volts and 5 volts.
Interrupt-Based Ambient Light and Environment Sensor Node for Sub-1GHz Networks Reference Design
TIDA-00758: The TIDA-00758 TI Design demonstrates a low-power method of wireless environmental sensing enabling up to 10 years of battery life. This design uses Texas Instruments’ SimpleLink™ ultra-low power sub-1 GHz wireless microcontroller (MCU) platform, and ambient light, humidity, and temperature sensing technologies to achieve interrupt-based sensor monitoring when running from the backup battery.
Battery-Operated Wireless Sensor Monitoring Reference Design
TIDM-WIRELESS-SENSORNODE: This design, featuring the ultra-low-power MSP430 MCU paired with a sub-GHz RF transceiver, enables a battery-operated wireless sensor monitoring solution. This design demonstrates both access point and wireless nodes, which can share sensor data wirelessly using a network protocol called "SimpliciTI". A PC-side GUI is also provided to visualize the wireless data that is being transmitted/received between the various nodes and access point.

16-Bit, 1MSPS Multiplexed Data Acquisition Reference Design
TIPD169: This design is for a 16-bit 1MSPS single-ended, multiplexed data acquisition system (DAQ) for dc inputs. The system is composed of a 16-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC), SAR ADC driver, reference driver, and multiplexer. The design shows the process to optimize a single-ended DAQ to achieve fast settling at a sampling rate of 1MSPS.
CAN to Wi-Fi Gateway Reference Design
TIDA-00380: The TIDA-00380 CAN to Wi-Fi Gateway is a reference design that shows how to add Wi-Fi connectivity to a CAN network. The design provides a simple way for users to gain access to the CAN bus traffic via a web page. This connection can be used for diagnostics or to add the capability to control the CAN bus. Isolated RS-485 to Wi-Fi Bridge with 24 VAC Power Reference Design
TIDA-00486: The TIDA-00486 TI Design uses Texas Instruments SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 Internet-on-a-chip Wireless MCU module to create a data bridge between an RS-485 network and a Wi-Fi network. An ISO15 transceiver provides an isolated RS-485 interface with up to 2500 VRMS of isolation. The LM5160 Fly-Buck™ power supply provides both isolated and non-isolated 3.3 V outputs for the two portions of the circuit.
