Automotive Digitally Controlled Boost Power Supply
TIDA-00282: This TI reference design is an automotive voltage boost converter module. The purpose of this module is to supply a steady voltage to vehicle electronics by boosting during voltage droop events such as engine crank. The design is based on the C2000 Real-Time Microcontroller, and will provide up to 400 Watts of power from a 12V automotive battery system. This solution supports continuous operational input voltage of 6V-16V with protection against 36V load dump to provide a stable 12V output supply with reverse battery protection.
TIDA-00724 Automotive Emergency Call (eCall) Audio Subsystem Reference Design | TI.com
TIDA-00724: The efficiency and diagnostics necessary for automotive emergency call (eCall) systems generate unique requirements for the audio subsystem, such as speaker diagnostics, and low power consumption. This TI Design shows how to use TI's automotive two-channel audio codec (TLV320AIC3104-Q1) and a class-D audio amplifier (TAS5411-Q1) for eCall applications.
Automotive 60W Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor Drive
TIDA-00143: This TIDA-00143 reference design is a BLDC motor controller and is designed to operate from a single 12V (nominal) power supply which can vary over a wide range of voltages as found in typical automotive applications. The board is designed to drive motors in the 60W range, which require currents of 5 Amps. The size and layout of the board is intended to facilitate evaluation of the drive electronics and firmware, with easy access to key signals on individual test points. Connection to a wide variety of motors is possible using either the 3-contact connector or by soldering motor phase wires to plated-through holes in the board. The 12Vdc power is fused to prevent damage to the board or to bench power supplies in case of a motor fault during testing. Command and status of the motor can be communicated through the standard JTAG connector, or through PWM input and output signals. Users can also re-program the microcontroller through the JTAG connector, allowing customization to a wide variety of applications.

TIDA-00202 Interface to a HIPERFACE Position Encoder Reference Design | TI.com
TIDA-00202: The TIDA-00202 reference design implements an EMC compliant industrial hybrid analog and digital interface to a HIPERFACE position encoder. A 3.3V supply RS485 transceiver with IEC-ESD and IEC-EFT protection is used for the bidirectional parameter channel. For the analog sin/cos signal channel, two options are provided to offer flexibility for connection to processors with and without embedded ADC or redundancy by using both options simultaneously. The first option features a fully differential dual 12-bit ADC with SPI output, the second option features a dual differential input with single-ended analog output (0-3.3V). The design features an industrial compliant 24V input with wide range from 16V to 36V. The power supply for the encoder can be configured from 7 to 12V (default 11V) and offers short-circuit protection. A 3.3V I/O connector with analog and logic signals provides an easy interface to a host processor with HIPERFACE master IP core. For quick evaluation an example firmware is available for a C2000™ Piccolo MCU to calculate the absolute angle position and display it through virtual COM port.
