Class 4,Efficiency-Optimized,Flyback Converter for PoE Applications

PMP6672: This reference evaluation module, featuring the TPS23754 PoE interface and DC-to-DC controller, is used for Class 4 PoE applications where high efficiency is required. Output power is 5V at 5A from either an adapter input(21.6-57VDC) or power over ethernet. in general, the efficiency gain is on the order of 3-4%.

Class 4, Cost-optimized, Flyback Converter for PoE Applications

PMP6812: This reference evaluation module, featuring the TPS23754 PoE interface and DC-to-DC controller is used for class 4 PoE applications. The flyback topology with diode rectification results in a low-cost converter for PoE applications such as a security camera. With the appropriate BOM changes, PMP6812 can also operate as a 13W supply.

5V, 4.8A High Efficiency Active Clamp Forward Converter for PoE Applications

PMP5818: This converter is used for Class 4 PoE applications where high efficiency is required. The active clamp forward converter with synchronous rectifiers provides excellent efficiency and small size for PoE applications such as a wireless access point. The TPS23754 contains both the PoE Powered Device and the PWM controller functions.

Class 4- 3.3V/7.6A High Efficiency Active Clamp Forward Converter for PoE Applications

PMP7452: This converter reference design is used for Class 4 PoE applications where high efficiency is required. The active clamp forward converter with synchronous rectifiers provides excellent efficiency and small size for PoE applications such as a wireless access point. The TPS23754 contains both the PoE Powered Device and the PWM controller functions.

Class 4- Wide Input Range 15W PoE Converter

PMP6659: PMP6659 is a flyback converter with synchronous rectification. It accepts input voltages of 10.8-57VDC/18-32VAC/PoE and has a 12V/1.25A output. This input and output combination is typically required for PoE security cameras. The synchronous rectifier provides excellent efficiency with the wide input voltage range.

Non-Standard (>25.5W) PoE - High Efficiency Forward Converter (12V@5A) Reference Design

PMP7499: This converter provides a high power PoE output of 12V/5A. The TPS2379 PD controller allows the use of an external hot swap FET for increased efficiency. The UCC2897A PWM controller is used to implement a high efficiency active clamp forward converter.

Class 4- High power PoE, active clamp forward converter 8V@3A

PMP6584: PMP6584 is a high power (non-standard) Power Over Ethernet (POE) active clamp forward converter. It features the TPS23756, which is a combination of a POE Powered Device (PD) controller and PWM controller. It also utilizes an ISO721 digital isolator and TPS28225 synchronous MOSFET driver. The input accepts standard POE voltage or a 24VDC-48VDC auxiliary voltage. The output power is an isolated 8VDC at 3A.
