Energy Harvester Booster Pack Reference Design
TIDA-00588: The TIDA-00588 reference design is a BoosterPack that harvests energy from a wide variety of current sources or from the onboard solar cells to power any low-power TI LaunchPad. This design is a highly integrated power management solution that is well-suited for ultra-low power applications. There are three storage methods on this board: 1)A 47mF super capacitor, 2) a LIR2032 coin cell, and 3) an external battery connector. You can use the onboard solar cells or add your own AC or DC current source.

TIDA-00242: This design is a Solar charger and energy harvester using a highly integrated power management solution that is well-suited for ultra-low power applications, like those enabled by MSP430 FRAM microcontrollers. The product is specifically designed to efficiently acquire and manage the microwatts (μW) to milliwatts (mW) needed to power your design. The storage method is a 47nF Super Capacitor that is charged and maintained by 4 series low power solar elements using MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) .

PMP6017: This reference design provides a high power ( 50W ) non-isolated, non-dimming LED driver based on the TPS92074. With a nominal input of 120VAC and input range covering 108VAC to 132VAC, the design provides 1 Amp of output current to a 47V nominal stack of LEDs (~16 LEDs). The Buck PFC provides high power factor and low THD.

120Vac TRIAC Dimmable LED Driver Reference Design
PMP6015: This reference design provides a high-brightness LED driver based on the TPS92075. It is designed to operate with an input voltage in the range of 90VAC to 132VAC with a 120 VAC nominal input voltage. This design is set up for an 185mA output current with an output voltage range of 46 to 54V. The ‘Max at Max’ circuit uses simple low cost components to adjust the converter off-time and the output current. A small capacitance transfers a small amount of energy when the triac edge is present, filters it and creates a small current which adds to the existing off-time charge current from VCC. The effect is a shortened off time and increased output current, only when a triac is present.
