18V-30V Input 24V@6.25A Active Clamp Forward Reference Design
PMP8944: This reference design provides a regulated and isolated 24Vdc at 150W from an 18Vdc-60Vdc input with greater than 94% efficiency. This design uses the UCC2897A active clamp controller with synchronous rectifiers for an efficient, yet cost effective solution.
18-36VDCin, 5V/4A Active Clamp Reference Design
PMP10871: The PMP10871 reference design uses the UCC2897A to control an active clamp forward and converts an 18-36V input to an isolated 5V/4A output with efficiency over 92%. This compact design uses only surface mount components.
18Vdc-36Vdc Input, 28V/100W Active Clamp Forward
PMP7294: This reference design uses the UCC2897A active clamp controller to generate an isolated 28V/3.6A output from a standard 24Vdc telecom input. This design uses diode rectification on the output stage and achieves efficiencies up to 93%. The output is adjustable down to 24V by changing a single resistor value.
8V-36V Input 12V/7A; Active Clamp Forward Reference Design
PMP5123: This reference design generates an isolated 12V/7A output from an 8V to 36V DC input. The UCC2897A controls an active clamp forward converter power stage. The low gate charge and low RDSon of the CSD19533Q5A and CSD19534Q5A allow this design to achieve a max load efficiency over 93%, with a peak efficiency of over 94%. The compact UCC27511 drivers simplify the gate drive circuitry for the synchronous rectifiers.
