TIDA-00588: The TIDA-00588 reference design is a BoosterPack that harvests energy from a wide variety of current sources or from the onboard solar cells to power any low-power TI LaunchPad. This design is a highly integrated power management solution that is well-suited for ultra-low power applications. There are three storage methods on this board: 1)A 47mF super capacitor, 2) a LIR2032 coin cell, and 3) an external battery connector. You can use the onboard solar cells or add your own AC or DC current source.
TIDA-00263: This reference design demonstrates an isolated RS-485 bus node with automatic correction of a reversed bus signal polarity caused by cross-wire faults. The design provides transient protection protecting the signal path against ESD, EFT, and surge transients specified in the IEC 61000 family of transient immunity standards. An isolated DC-DC converter provides power supply across the isolation barrier utilizing the push-pull converter principle.
TIDA-00326: This reference design demonstrates a Soft-Start Isolated Power Supply. It utilizes a TPS22965 Load-Switch and SN6501 Transformer Driver to slew-rate limit the ramp-up power on the primary supply, and utilizes a Transformer plus a full-wave rectifier to generate the isolated secondary power.
TIDA-00601: The TIDA-00601 design implements a Class 0.5% three-phase energy measurement system with isolated shunt sensors. The isolation is achieved through the use of isolated delta-sigma modulators that have output circuitry capacitively isolated from input circuitry. An energy measurement SoC takes the different bit-streams from the isolated modulators and uses its on-board digital filters to produce ADC sample readings. The energy measurement SoC is also used for sensing voltages, calculating metrology parameter values, driving the board’s LCD, and communication to a PC GUI via the board’s isolated RS-232 circuitry. This reference design uses the ISO7420 and ISO7421. This reference design can also be used with the ISO7320C and ISO7321C. This reference design uses the AMC1304M05. This reference design can also be used with the AMC1304M25. This reference design uses the MSP430F67641. This reference design can also be used with the MSP430F67641A.
PMP9755: This reference design delivers a backup power circuit using a supercap with the boost converter TPS61030. In the low-power system that requires a backup switchover circuit at system's failure, a supercap together with TPS61030 could provide sufficient power to maintain data communication prior to the whole system's complete shutdown.
PMP10035: This design uses the LM5023 flyback controller for the 2-Switch Quasi-Resonant Flyback Topology. It generates an isolated output (19.5V@3.84A) from an universal input (85VAC - 265VAC).
TIDA-00267: A ready to use design that efficiently solves the problem of improper installation by adding antiparallel communication channels and appropriate control signal to enable polarity correction for the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus.
TIDA-00330: This reference design demonstrates the performance of a reinforced, isolated, full-duplex M-LVDS transceiver node using the ISO7842 and SN65MLVD203. A single reinforced digital isolator replaces two basic digital isolators, reducing cost and PCB area.
PMP6011: This design provides the ability to drive multiple LED strings with current matching from an AC source from 90VAC to 300VAC. The circuit is power factor corrected and provides high efficiency and good line regulation.
PMP8697: The PMP8697 reference design uses the UCC28610 quasi-resonant flyback controller to generate two non-isolated outputs (12V@1.89A, 15V@0.2A) and one isolated output (15V@0.39A).
