PMP10834: The PMP10834RevA reference design is a compact and thermally efficient design intended to step down a wide range of AC inputs (85VAC to 265VAC). This non-isolated Flybuck design incorporates the UCC28C42 PWM with an optocoupler feedback to provide 1% output voltage regulation. All the circuit components (including magnetics) are standard parts.
TIDA-00255: The TIDA00255 reference design utilizes the bq76940 analog front end (AFE) IC. It measures cell voltages, and die temperature or external thermistor voltage using a 14 bit ADC. Current is measured separately by a separate 16 bit coulomb counter. The design can turn off low side power FETs to stop discharge or charge based on selected hardware limits. A microcontroller not included in this design would be part of the battery controller to communicate to the AFE to set protection thresholds, turn on the power FETs, provide fault recovery and turn off the FETs for over or under temperature conditions. A battery controller design may contain other features which are not part of this reference design such as secondary over voltage protection, gauging, and isolated communication to let the system know the state of the battery.
TIDA-00512: This design is a LLC resonant half-bridge DC-DC power converter with digital control using 3138ACC32EVM-149 daughter-card. The daughter-card control functions with preloaded firmware providing the required control functions for a LLC resonant half-bridge converter. The TIDA-00512 (3138ALLCEVM-150) accepts a DC input from 350VDC to 400VDC, and outputs a nominal 12VDC with full load output power of 340W, or full output current of 29A. As seen at APEC
PMP5687: A transition mode (TM) Boost PFC and a TM Buck deliver from high line a clean 80mA current to a LED string, max. voltage 312V. The PCB board has been developed to fit into a T8 fluorescent tube, suitable for retrofit purpose. A PWM dimming input is also included.
PMP5568: This project is a complete 350W, high performance, high speed offline power supply solution. It contains a novel, microcontroller-driven synchronous bridge rectifier, a 2-phase interleaved PFC stage and a phase-shifted fullbridge as down converter. It has an universal input (85 .. 265V AC) and the output voltage is adjustable between 12 and 14V. The continuous output current is 25A, the peak current is 27A. A second microcontroller monitors several values (input voltage, PFC voltage, output voltage, output current, temperatures), is the interface to the user (LCD, push-buttons), adjusts the output voltage and synchronizes the switching frequency of all converters.
PMP4636: PMP4636 is an active power factor correction, transition mode, isolated flyback that generates a bus voltage of 59V@2.5A starting from high line. This voltage will supply several buck converters needed to provide constant current to different LED strings.
PMP10974: PMP10974 is a quasi-resonant Flyback power suppy based on the UCC28730 primary side regulation (PSR) controller. The elimination of optocoupler using PSR topology promises higher reliability and lower system cost. The design achieves less than 40mW standby power losses and over 89% average efficiency. The design also features UCC2463x synchronous rectification controller.
