Level Translation: Dual to Single Supply Amp, ±15V to 5V
TIPD148: Translating a ±15V signal to a single supply 5V signal for use with an ADC is a common circuit requirement. This Dual Supply to Single Supply Amplifier circuit design translates a ±15V signal to a 0V to 5V signal. The output of this design will not be outside of 0-5V regardless of power supply sequencing or other transient conditions.
TIDA-00419 SONAR Receiver Path Sub-System Reference Design Using an 8 Channel Analog Front End | TI.com
TIDA-00419: The TIDA-00419 TI Design is a demonstration of a SONAR receive path sub-system using the integrated analog front end (AFE) AFE5809. The AFE5809 features 8 channels of analog signal conditioning (LNA+VCAT+PGA) and Digital Processing (ADC+Digital Demodulator) that brings a high level of system receive path integration and enables high-performance echo-location imaging for high-end SONAR systems. This reference design demonstrates this SONAR sub-system with a schematic modified from the AFE5809EVM. The test data included is taken by combining the full AFE5809EVM with the TSW1400EVM FPGA Capture Card and their respective Software GUIs in order simulate a complete receive chain solution capable of high-performance measurement.
Shunt-Based AC/DC Current and Voltage Sensing for Smart Grid Applications with Reinforced Isolation
TIDA-00080: This isolated shunt based current measurement unit enables high accuracy current measurement without the use of Current Transformers (CT). The isolation is achieved through the use of AMC1304 that incorporates both high voltage isolation as well as the Delta-Sigma Modulator. This solution eliminates the need for the CT which customers value due to the decrease in board size, reduced product weight, mitigation of cross talk and EMI in the system, and potentially increases product life through lower mechanical issues by replacing the CT with a shunt.
TIPD146 Op Amp with Single Discrete Bipolar Transistor Output Drive | TI.com
TIPD146: Driving a low resistance load with a precision amplifier is an important requirement for many systems. This function can be achieved with power op amps, but cost may be prohibitive. This TI Precision design shows how to achieve high output drive capability using a precision amplifier and a simple low cost discrete bipolar transistor.
TIPD147 Noise Measurement Post-Amp for Oscilloscope or Spectrum Analyzer | TI.com
TIPD147: In some cases a scope or spectrum analyzer does not have the range required to measure very small noise levels. This noise measurement post-amp boosts the output noise of the device under test (DUT) to allow for measurement with standard test equipment. The key requirements of this circuit is that it has a low noise floor and sufficient bandwidth for characterization of most devices.
TIDA-00171 Isolated Current Shunt and Voltage Measurement Reference Design for Motor Drives | TI.com
TIDA-00171: This evaluation kit and reference design implements the AMC130x reinforced isolated delta-sigma modulators along with integrated Sinc filters in the C2000™ TMS320F28377D Delfino™ microcontroller. The design provides an ability to evaluate the performance of these measurements: three motor currents, three inverter voltages and the DC Link voltage. Provided in the kit is firmware to configure the Sinc filters, set the PLL frequency and receive data from Sinc filters. A versatile run-time GUI is also provided to help the user validate the AMC130x performance and supports configuration changes to Sinc filter parameters in the Delfino controller.
