TIDA-00561 Wireless pH Sensor Transmitter (DevPack for SensorTag) Reference Design | TI.com
TIDA-00561: The TIDA-00561 shows how to build an industrial-grade wireless pH transmitter for process control. This TI Design includes a designed pH front-end, which can be connected directly via its onboard connector to most pH probes used in process control. The performance data was tested and characterized (input range 0 to 14 pH, overall tested accuracy +/- 0.01pH) to ensure compatibility with process instrumentation needs. Because TIDA-00561 form factor and electrical connections are compatible with the TI SimpleLink™ CC2650 SensorTag ecosystem, a simple firmware update is enough to select the wireless connectivity technology: Bluetooth® Smart, ZigBee® or 6LoWPAN, among others. The firmware used for testing and characterization is Bluetooth Smart, which has the highest presence ratio in portable equipment, making testing and demonstration easier.Once you select the wireless technology for your industrial wireless network, you can start collecting data with the associated gateway, which then allows you to run analytics either on a PC or directly on the Sitara-powered BeagleBone Black.

TIDA-00650: The TIDA-00650 reference design shows how to build a wireless thermocouple based temperature transmitter. The design is in the DevPack form factor which can be used in combination with TIs SensorTag. This allows for the development of a wireless link with Bluetooth® Smart or other wireless technologies (Zigbee, WiFi, sub 1GHz). The 24-bit ∆Σ sensor front-end utilized in this design allows for operation over the -40 to +85C temperature range.

TIDA-00231: TIDA-00231 is a reference design for an industrial Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) analog output module. The design provides a unique power saving solution for a digital-to-analog converter (DAC)-based analog current output module with an adaptive power supply. This adaptive power supply dynamically regulates the AVDD supply of the DAC and limits power losses to < 50mW for typical load resistance of > 300Ω. The analog output can source current up to 24mA. This reference design includes the necessary on-board protection circuit and has been tested to IEC61000-4 standard EFT, ESD, and surge requirements with IO Controller platforms. The protection circuitry does not negatively affect the design and Test results showed typical unadjusted errors were less than 0.2% FSR and calibrated accuracy is 0.05%. The system is composed of a 16-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC), SAR ADC driver, reference driver, and multiplexer. The design shows the process to optimize a single-ended DAQ to achieve fast settling at a sampling rate of 1MSPS.
