Three-Phase Brushless/PMSM Low Current Motor Control Solution with InstaSPIN Software
TIDM-THREEPHASE-BLDC-LC-INST: This reference design demonstrates a motor control solution for spinning medium voltage three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) and brushless AC (BLAC) motors- often referred to as permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) - featuring the C2000™ InstaSPIN™ TMS320F28069M microcontroller and the DRV8312 3-phase motor driver. The reference design features InstaSPIN-FOC field oriented control technology and InstaSPIN-MOTION speed and position control technology. With Texas Instruments’ InstaSPIN technologies, designers of all skill levels can implement a high-performance, power efficient, cost-effective, sensorless field-oriented control platform with robust movement capabilities. Applications include sub-50V and 3.5A synchronous motors for driving pumps, gates, lifts, fans, as well as both industrial and consumer robotics and automation.
Three-Phase BLDC and PMSM Medium Voltage Motor Control Solution
TIDM-THREEPHASE-BLDC-LC: Spin and control three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) and brushless AC (BLAC) motors—or permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM)—using sensorless field oriented control (FOC). This design provides high-performance, power-efficient, and cost-effective control for sub-50V, 7A motors, ideal for applications like medical pumps, gates, lifts, small pumps, robotics, and automation. Sensored and sensorless trapezoidal commutation motor control techniques are also supported with this design.
TIDA-00405 3D Printer Controller (12V) | TI.com
TIDA-00405: This design is a complete system for controlling 3-axis, single extruder-based 3D printers. The system is managed by the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad and utilizes the DRV8846 for precision stepper motor control. The CSD18534Q5A is used as a low-side switch for the hot bed heater, extruder heater, and cooling fan. The DRV5033 Hall Sensor acts as a contactless limit switch.

TIDA-00089 Value Soundbar Reference Design Kit for Stereo or 2.1 Applications | TI.com
TIDA-00089: This is a Value Soundbar reference design kit for Stereo or 2.1 applications, which can easily be reapplied for PC speakers, or MP3 Docks. This is a complete reference design, including all programming hardware required, so you can get to working within minutes, a prototype within hours, and production within 8 weeks on average! The cost of build of the Value Soundbar Reference Design Kit is 30% less than the discrete solutions available in the market today. The design has a multitude of stuffing options, allowing developers to customise the product easily, without having to redesign the PCB. The software comes in two parts, firstly the MSP430 code (completely open source) and a code file for the home audio version of Purepath Studio. TI integrates both the programmer for the MSP430 and a dedicated programmer for the PCM3070 and EEPROM.

TIDM-PRINTERPACK 40-Pin Boosterpack for 3D Printer Control | TI.com
TIDM-PRINTERPACK: This design is a 40-pin boosterpack which incorporates all of the necessary components for 3D printer operation. Convenient location of all I/O headers and inclusion of firmware allows developers to immediately start creating their own cost-effective 3D printers. Although the original intent is to be used as a low-cost solution for 3D printer control, at its core are four DRV8825 stepper motor drivers that allow the boosterpack to also operate in any application where multiple stepper motors are needed.
