Class 1 Non-isolated Buck Converter (5V/560mA) for PoE PD Applications Reference Design

PMP9676: This converter is used for Class 1 PoE PD applications where isolation is not required. The TPS2378 PD controller plus LM5006 buck converter provide 5V/560mA with good efficieny in a small size. The LM5006 can be configured with a diode rectifier for lowest cost or a synchronous FET rectifier for improved efficiency.

Isolated Fly-Buck Power Module for PoE Application Reference Design

PMP10572: The PMP10572 reference design is an single output isolated Fly-Buck power supply for PoE application. It takes 48V nominal input and provides 12V 1A output. The board is designed with TPS2378(PD controller) to provide 40V-57V input votlage and 12V 1SA output power. The design features the LM5160A synchronous buck converter configured as a Fly-Buck regulator. With the benefit of primary side regulation, the supply has the outputs regulated without the opto-coupler or additional transformer winding. The LM5160A has a wide Vin range of 4.5V to 65V and 1.5A output current capability with integrated switch FETs. The input voltage to the reference board can be loosely regulated with a range of 40V to 57V.

PMP5595: This power supply replaces a small PoE module and delivers 12V @ 600mA. The board layout has been routed by separating the module into two parts: the input filter and bridge from the power stage.

Class 3,Cost and Efficiency Optimized Buck Converter for PoE Applications

PMP4679: This reference evaluation module, featuring the TPS23750 PoE DC-to-DC controller, is used for class 3 PoE applications where low-cost and high efficiency are required. The module accepts input voltages between 37-57V ac and output 12V at 0.95A.

PMP4507: This PMP4507 delivers 3.3V@3A or 5V@2A from a PoE source, standard 13W limit. The converter accepts also an external voltage from an adapter ranging 12V to 54V input.

PMP2735: This PMP2735 delivers 3.3V@3A or 5V@2A from a PoE source, standard 13W limit. The converter accepts also an external voltage from an adapter ranging 12V to 54V input.
