TIDC-CC3200SMARTPLUG: Increasingly, applications require Wi-Fi-enabled energy measurement and control, particularly in end products such as Smart Plugs and Smart Receptacles, and in general application spaces such as home appliances, Smart Grid, and building automation. The CC3200 Smart Plug is a full system solution, which integrates within a single microcontroller (MCU) the metrology data computation, and handles all Wi-Fi communication, including connection to a cloud server. The device monitors energy consumption from a single load and controls the high voltage side while communicating data over Wi-Fi to other devices and to Cloud server. The system also includes a Flyback Power Supply Unit (PSU) that powers the system efficiently while being highly compact.

TIDM-BPM: This reference design is a demonstration for detecting blood pressure and heart rate. It works in low-power mode(LPM3) and only displays the date and time in most time. User can measure blood pressure by pressing 'measure' button and also can look at historical blood pressure by pressing 'memory' button. The measured records will be stored in EEPROM after measurement complete. The max record number is set as 80.

It meets all of the requirements for ANSI C12.20 and IEC-62053 Class 0.5 meters.The MSP430F449 SoC is a low-cost option for engineers developing polyphase energy measurement systems for utility meters and industrial applications. . The LMV324 op amps are used for conditioning the voltage and current signals coming from the current transformers. The design uses a capacitive-drop power supply based on the TPS76333 to provide a low-cost power supply solution. Hardware and software design files are provided to enable calculation of various parameters for three-phase energy measurement, such as RMS current & voltage, active and reactive power and energies, power factor and frequency. With this design developers can quickly determine that the MSP430F449 e-meter SoC meets the requirements for their low-cost smart e-meter.
