    TIDA-00403 Ultrasonic Distance Measurement using the TLV320AIC3268 miniDSP CODEC Reference Design | TI.com
    TIDA-00403: The TIDA-00403 reference design uses off-the-shelf EVMs for ultrasonic distance measurement solutions using algorithms within the TLV320AIC3268 miniDSP. In conjunction with TI’s PurePath Studio design suite, a robust and user configurable ultrasonic distance measurement system can be designed with the click of a mouse. The ultrasonic burst generation characteristics as well as detection algorithms can be user modified to fit specific use cases in industrial and measurement applications allowing users to overcome the limitations of other fixed function sensors while simultaneously increasing reliability of the measurements. Two GPIOs on the TLV320AIC3268 are automatically triggered indicating a transmitted and received ultrasonic burst. With a host MCU monitoring these GPIOs, the time of flight can be extracted.

    TIDM-RM46XDRV8301KIT: This TI design describes a motor control evaluation kit for spinning 3-phase brushless DC and brushless AC (BLAC) - often referred to as permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) – motors with example of sensorless Field Oriented / Vector Control (FOC). The implementation leverages the DRV8301 gate-driver IC as well as the TPS65381 Power-Management IC. This reference design can be used as a high-performance, power-efficient, cost-effective platform to speed up development of PMSM control algorithms.

    TIDM-SOLAR-DCDC: This design is a digitally-controlled, solar DC/DC converter with maximum power point tracking (MPPT), for use in central or string solar inverters. It is a companion to the TI Design TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV, a grid-tied, single phase, DC/AC inverter. Together, the TIDM-SOLAR-DCDC and the TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV comprise a complete solar inverter for central or string topologies. This solar DC/DC converter consists of a two-phase interleaved boost converter for MPPT and a resonant LLC converter with isolation. A C2000™ Piccolo™ TMS320F28035 microcontroller (MCU) is the digital controller for the complete DC/DC converter, executing high frequency control loops and maximum-power point tracking algorithms. This design achieves full-load efficiency of greater than 94 percent, which allows for more overall energy output from a solar installation and reduces detrimental heat generation in the converter.
